GIRAFFE
The giraffe is the tallest animal that lives on land. Is from the family GIRAFFIDAE. It can be from 4 metres to 6 metres(THE TALLEST IN THE WORLD) and it can weigh up to 900 kilograms or more.Giraffes have a very long neck and legs. Their fur is yellowish and it have got brownish motes and it have got a black tongue it can be of 45 cm long.They normaly live in Africa in savannahs because it have got lot of grass and wood. They do not live in thick forests where it is difficult to see predators.
They mostly eat leaves from the highest trees and sometimes small insects and they can go without water for
2-3 weeks. The giraffes live alone or in loose groups and when they are young live in small groups until they become mature.
After pregnacy of 14-15 months gave birth a only baby called CALF, usually it be of1.8 m tall and weigh 50 kg. When the calf born it feels down 2-3. The calf stay with the mother 1-2 years and then it goes with a small group.
